I actually thought it was a pretty entertaining match.
First half, although quite defensive was intriguing with Symes thwarting the Bloods time & again.
Midway through the 3rd when Centrals kicked a couple clear, it looked like the Bulldogs juggernaut was going to steamroll them.
But Westies responded with an exciting brand of footy ahich was great to watch.

Even at the end it was interesting to see if the Gowans twins were going to completely lose it.
1st Semi could be interesting if North happen to put it beyond doubt midway through the final quarter ;)
Having said that, I'm pretty Confident Centrals will respond with a win.

Nwd V Bloods should be a right bloody chessmatch. Hopefully not.

Finals off to a good start with a couple of good matches! (thanks to my my mob not being there ;) )
Pitty the crowd was so small (thanks to my my mob not being there ;) )
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

Spot on! It wasn't long ago Brenton Phillips was complaining that Centrals gamestyle was like rugby.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

I can imagine their crowds swelling as all the West fans return to the fold next year on the back of some nice finals (maybe even a GF).

Then standing on the terraces at Richmond watching the 9 man defence win a game with 5 goals scored and saying "what the bloody hell am I doing here?"

Interesting the first 10 minutes of the first quarter where most of the play was in West Adelaide's left forward pockets and 3/4 of the ground did not have a player in it - obviously West were flooding their own forward line because everybody says only Norwood & West flood???

True. Wests style of play got them five more goals than us...

The goal umpire was in perfect position to see. Pity his guide dog wasn't.

First time for a long time Centrals actually found top gear. Just need to sustain for a bit longer next time. Hopefully we will use two ruckmen.

Bit harsh when the bloke who kicked it wasn't even sure if it was a goal.

I don't think so. There is video of Hartlett striking Obst.

Speaking of reports, how many did the port player get in the reserves final? Good old fashioned coat hanger!

I don't necessarily think blokes should get off for being provoked.
But I find it astounding that in a melee two blokes from the same side were reported. Fighting themselves while everyone else stood around and watched maybe? If it was the Twins, maybe

These reports were at two different stages IIRC.

the goal that people are talking about when slowed down shows. the west player kick the ball not centrals. If the reports are true about suspension then i think centrals would be the one who are advantaged by obst being out, he was a passenger yesterday and just looked way underdone (this is not a snipe or having a go at a player he just looked way of the pace) north supporters on the other would probably want him playing if he is not right, you will miss sansbury though.
