Overall coverage was p*ss poor. 30K attended, plenty more watched on TV, and that is the best they can serve up.

Agree. Saturday was fair-ish, the rest was a disgrace.
Last Monday's front cover should have been a 2/3 large pic of the Swans with the line "Year of the Bloods", 1/3 pic underneath of Westies prelim final action with "Year of the Bloods?"

Most disapointing part for mine was the Sunday Mail with no Grand Final picture on either the front or back cover.

For a traditional South Australian sporting event that on average draws 30,000 that is a disgrace.

Melbourne's Herald-Sun and the Age haven't published SANFL or WAFL scores for the last five years.

Can not comment on the Advertiser as have not bought one in many years. The print media is slowly dying as most people obtain their news and sport electronically these days. The Advertiser appears to be doing very little to divert that trend.

Another poor effort from the Advertiser today. The paper listed the players currently available for the SANFL internal draft but forgot to include three players the power got in the F.A/Trading period.

Campbell Heath
Jake Neade
Lewis Stevenson
