After the Incident Review Panel offered a 1 match ban for 'Rough Conduct' against Justin Hardy, the club has challeneged the decision at the SANFL tribunal this evening. Hardy has been found NOT GUILTY and will be free to play on Saturday against West Adelaide.

Didn't even think of checking this thread or AdelaideNow for any results because thought the report would have been withdrawn.
Regardless of it being an Eagles player, this is just a complete disgrace.

I just presumed it was a very clever way of saying he would be found not guilty during the week. Lol.

He has pleaded guilty so he won't be appealing. Bennett pleaded guilty too. I felt sorry for him in that it was a classic case of the retaliator getting caught and it looked a very minor misdemeanour. I guess a reprimand is a fair result all things considered.

Backwell - Says on SANFL site accepted a reprimand from Incident Review panel but 275 pts does equate to 2 games - So which one is it?

There are a couple of typos in there so I wouln't be too sure with what is written. I'd suspect Backwell would have taken the 2 week suspension (would have been 3 if not for an early guilty plea) but the person updating the site hasn't put this down correctly.

Interesting to see that Norwood's Matt Suckling had been cited for Umpire Abuse. SANFL twitter feed says he has been given a reprimand.

How did Brady Dawe get on. Given that Gallman got 4 broken ribs from the incident if it was the AFL Dawe would be in huge strife.
