Or reflects Norwood's finish to the season, as second does for Collingwood?

No, I think the season masked some flaws that weren't clearly exposed until late in the Minor Round and early in the Major Round.

It's the Norwood way to always insist on trying to play a highly/overly skilled style, with a squad that doesn't have the ability to implement it under pressure (in a competition that has no side capable of implementing under pressure most likely) - Not mid winter Minor Round pressure, but Major Round pressure.

Norwood played the Eagles and Centrals 7 times for 2 wins (1 of which was by a point whilst we were playing our best footy for the year) - We can't hide from that.

It's about time we shoved our "pride" up our collective asses and adopted styles and philosophies that successful clubs of the last 20 years have regularly displayed.

Now your a Norwood fan who is honest and smart too !

The past three games I've watched of SANFL finals footy would have to be the worst exhibition of football SA has produced for ages.

Anyone who thinks that this style of football is better than the AFL is kidding themselves.

Oh and what about Gay FL bruise free games ..... must watch heh ?

Bassett was grimly realisitic last night at the club and said we'd finished where we deserved to having failed against the best two teams more often than not.

Having said that I think he extracted the maximum possible from an obviously weaker team than last year, losing the players we did and making the finals surprised even a lot of Norwood supporters.

See you in the finals......

Was there anything psychical in yestersdays game? Was a very soft, possession style game I thought. Wouldn't be too many sore players today.

Adelaide Hawk, Fester69, Topsy Waldron...

What do you want to hear? Give me a period of mourning at least!

How can you go From such a high at the MCG to such a feeling of despair in just 24 hours?

I offer no excuses at all, poor selections and no changes made when surprisingly we still had a chance to win at half-time. Just not good enough.
The soup-kitchens would of been over-run at lizzbeff last night because Norwood's lame effort just handed them another flag. Stale bread and 2 minute noodles all round!
The Wiggles fans (all 600) would of had a group screening of Deliverance trying to spot their relatives. Why does society have to share it's oxygen with you?

Still damn lucky and proud to be associated with the Greatest Club in the SANFL, it's all right for the rest of you to be jealous because no matter what your piddly little clubs achieve you will NEVER be as good as us.

I'll be back next year when we re-claim our rightful mantle as the elite, and the rest of you can stuffed!

Hoping next week's GF results in 42 knee reconstructions.

You have got to be the biggest ass hat ever, I can see even your own fans disowning you. What a loser of a person and in life by the looks of it.

Well done to the eagles yesterday. The writing was on the wall 10 minutes into the game. They were more switched on and wanted to win.

Like usual the eagles midfield was allowed to do what it pleased.

Norwood's disposal shocking.

If it wasnt for poor kicking at goal the game would of been over at quarter time...

Norwood's forward line was a rabble for the second week in a row.

I don't understand why SOME Norwood supporters are so arrogant at times. Never known people to celebrate mediocrity so much.

Fester or fister? Ass hat? Disowned? Not for me to answer. Sour, bitter, poor loser? Definitely! Arrogant loud-mouth who only really cares about Norwood? Definitely! Care what other people's opinions of me are? Couldn't give a stuff! Hope the coaches trip on the stairs and there are 44 knee reconstructions!

How good was Doyle in the prelim, might as well have got a cardboard cut out placed in the center of the ground.

Throw in his kick at goal in the second semi and really there is only numpty.

People like Topsy and Fester make Norwoods joke of a finals series even more enjoyable.

You know fester I have regarded you as a total dickhead but your post above rings a certain chord. As a doggies supprter I had to endure simpler emotions as year afer year we performed poorly at finals time (when we lost 20 millian finals ina row). At least you are a passionate footy follower.

PS - get stuffed.

Come on WHUFC
Did you watch the game ?
You are wrong
Doyle was just about the only NW player not to make a foot disposal error in this game
In fact, I cannot remember Doyle making a foot mistake for this match
I suggest you do you your homework, as I did with this reply
