would it be worth the exercise for philh & co (who have every stat known to mankind) to get andrew demetriou on air (suggesting 5AA as that'll get more airplay) asking him to clarify the afl's position & what they actually want & if it is a 'takeover' of the whole comp to a mere feeder league then hit him with some facts & see what he says............forget about rucci etc just go to the top
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Maybe ask him to join the PAFC management group.....he can't do any worse than the current mob and will get paid shitloads more than he does at Centrals.....and get a wopping great bonus.....

Those "whopping great bonus' " have already been refuted by Mark Haysman. It amazes me how eager people are to believe bullshit rumors when they involve PAFC.

SANFL FOOTBALL the best in the land.

Well interesting that you have forgotten the "crap" the NAFC copped for their public stance on the whole PAFC "one club" concept which is all part of this plan by the PAFC to reduce it's debt. The North board is in the process of compiling a response to the continuing attack and baseless claims re the SANFL comp "bleeding" the AFL clubs which in the main is driven by Rucci and some other ill-informed "commentators" or by-line writers such as Rucciuto. Interesting that now the PAFC and Magpies operate under one financial model, part of the more recent funding / bail out by the SANFL to the PAFC and any future bail out by the AFL will effectively have one club playing in the SANFL being funded by the AFL if you want to get technical. No other SANFL club has or will be afforded that as a guarentee?

You also forgot that Matt Benson, Sturt's CEO came out publically a few weeks back and blasted the article and surrounding issues by Rucciuto.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

"could", "likely", "may"......typical opinion piece by an apologist for the Port Adelaide Football Club, not a factual article by a journalist.....

....maybe this "Senior Reporter" could take up the point raised by OTR.....if the Power have no money "could" it be "likely" that the Magpies are now indirectly funded by the AFL....

....the sports pages of the Advertiser read more like a Port Adelaide FC newsletter....
