Lol, Cornes takes himself very seriously and ranks himself just after the hills hoist int this state. He see's himsef (and activly promotes as) the no.1 ambassador of the crows and the sanfl and in turn belittles all and sundry who don't fall into line with these two loves of his. It's a sad indictment of our state that he had been able to spruik his crap to so many for so long without 5 double crow pulling the plug on him or at least finding someone to sit alongside of him that is any more than a bobble headed yes man.

Well, don't take him so seriously. I disagree with a lot of what he says and agree with some, but I see no reason to get annoyed about it. Again, although I don't always agree with what he writes, it's often an interesting read.

On the other hand, Michelangelo allows his biases to greatly affect what he writes and IMO often tries to make the facts fit his agenda when they clearly don't.

This is what i sent to the 5AA sports show this morning I hope someone has the guts to read this out re PAFC woes

AFL & PAFC Destruction OF SANFL

If its true that over the last 3 years also this year and the next 3 years Will have received approx 24 Million dollars to keep it afloat can someone do some real investigative reporting and obtain the financial reports for the last 5 years so the members and football followers in this state know exactly where the money has gone, like any business you have revenue coming in then expenses takes out etc thus leaving a profit or loss.
To me it seems tha the PAFC has become the biggest LEECH in this state feeding off the SANFL and it is no wonder the SANFL is in financial strife all this talk of stadium deals moving to Adelaide Oval blah blah will fix their problems but i doubt it as you need bums on seats from what i see and what i hear the novelty of AFL football in this state is waning due to the yearly tampering and change of rules resulted in the sanitising and making it a non contact sport to accommodate the TV masses.

So can someone get the detailed financial reports detailing where every cent has been spent.

10 mil in the last 3 years, another 5 mil for this year, another 9 mil for the next 3 years wow whats that now 24 MILLION DOLLARS

- 10 million in the last 3 years was actually $5.80 million - $3.75 million in 2009 and $2.05 million in 2010. Another $1.95 was due to be delivered this year from the SANFL as part of the $4 million total promised. Ive hard varying reports whether this was actually given or not.

- 5 million this year....a media figure which was quickly refuted by Port management and which you seem to have double counted. Sick of Rucci yet happy to spout a bullshit figure when it suits your argument

- 9 million over 3 years....which includes your supposed $5 million which youve happily now triple counted.

So if you use the base $9 million figure quoted from the media that will be needed in the next 3 years, then its a maximum of $16.75 million (possibly only $14.8 million).

And you wonder why it wouldnt be read out?
