One delisted AFL player that I thought might attract some interest from SANFL clubs (in need of a ruckman) would be ex St. Kilda / Richmond player Adam Pattison maybe?

Ralph the Rumour Monger was on AA tonight and said he heard Backwell will sign with North and despite reports Alleway has signed with the Roosters, Ralphy had him going to Norwood as mentioned.

Yep and could end up at Westies with his link to Coburg under Collins (IIRC and timing was correct). Plus all the other ex-coburg boys at Westies. He would be very handy for the Bloods!

Weren't Torrens Valley offering the twins $1,500 each per game?

Maybe the Hawks offer is only $600 each, who knows?

I think the boys are still back home in Anglesea, will be interesting to see what unfolds there???

Same figure that Torrens Valley were rumoured to have offered the Twins...

I suspect the boys will play on for the Dogs in the SANFL in 2011 but time will tell...

Not me unfortunately :D
But knowing what country footballers get paid that would be around the going rate. Plenty on $1000 and a few top notch ones closer to $1500.
Dont know what average league players are on but am led to believe ressies about $150 and twice the ammount of training as country

Pretty sure he's totally finished. Otherwise would more than likely have stuck out with AFL if he could.

I can't really imagine the Gowans going through another year of footy to play in the ammos here. If they are willing to go through that again, surely it's either with the Dogs or back at Anglesea if they want to finish where it started.

Chris Hall woud be the Eagles junior who has been at Freo the last two years, not the ex-Glenelg and South player.
