When our depth gets tested we are shown to be well off the pace. Our top 5 or 6 players are outstanding and yet we are not in a position to capitalize on this because our gamestyle doesn't encourage our other players to develop as well rounded players. A team with Morris, Ferguson, Piasante,Willits, Ezard, Birss & Fisher as recruits should be able to supply enough local talent to be a force. The lack of development of the next tier has been the dissapointing aspect over the last few years.

Care to guess which sides have used the most players this year? Injuries might mean a lack of class, or perhaps you start to lack strikepower, experience, size or something. But unless I'm mistaken it's been discipline and effort that West fans are asking about. Something all league footballers should have, regardless of experience, skill or size.

The list not improving, gameplan is suspect & unpopular with many supporters, had more than enough time to put their stamp on the club. Not sure the push will be strong enough to end Collins' contract early but that is probably only because of the difference between AFL and SANFL.
