South CEO Ben Kavenagh revealed on the 'Outside 50' SANFL show this morning that there will be a live circus at their last home game this weekend against the Maggies.

With the Brenton Honour situation, it sounds like the circus is in the admin office at the Jimmy Dean complex, which I'm sure even some South folk would agree with !!

i've seen the posters around the area for the circus & i thought well they didn't plan on being in the finals or would they have trained elsewhere ?


with brendan lade retiring how could south 'coax' him into playing when all this garbage goes on ?.....they had pyman (who got them into finals) & he was too hard, they then get jack cahill & jack left for 'political reasons', so surely they get what they deserve as there is 2 men who we all know can coach but the same 2 are ''way too hard on our (south) boys''......NEWSFLASH without the hard work etc you go absolutely nowhere & that is where south is....(i've seen it first hand at glenelg & fortuneately we've changed full circle but south go from bad to worse & bar for the odd hiccup they've been doing that since 1964)

That was a different day, there was football that day, as you can tell from the sunshine in the circus pic it was well out of footy season.

First Honor left. Now the remaining members of the FOC have been sacked! Is this a good thing for Sambo?

The FOC members would have all backed Honor to the hilt.
For the club it may well have had no way forward with the FOC.
In that case of "Nothing ventured , nothing gained "

We did play there on one day where the circus was set up in the North-west corner and I'm pretty sure that was the same day you took the Jars clown pic?

All this above waffle and not a even a hint of truth in any of it. Also note Brenton Honor was not sacked or pushed to resign from the foc as clearly stated on the safc web site. Lunchbox and Aceman are sadly typical of some posters on this site who know a mate of a mate who sweeps the stairwell at a footy club who provide them with "real true" rumours that are presented here as fact and these morons can't wait to hit their keyboards and present this rubbish.

I don't come into the SANFL side of the forum very much (or make comment when I do),
I do read some posts when it comes to SAFC.

I'm getting a little bit sick of everyone kicking them while they're down.
Yes things seem pretty bad,
Yes work needs to be done,
We've all been involved in clubs that have had some trouble in one way or another at some point.
There are also a lot of great people at South/The Panthers.
Have some respect for those trying to do the right thing/s.
Please.

Agree to a point BUT
There are people very well paid to make decissions about this footy club!! not volunteer's like you and me and they must be accountable for decissions made!

There are some great people at South Agree and some that are their for their own vested interest!
Yes respect the people that are trying to do the right things BUT maybe they are not in a position to make change!
This is a footy club with assets of 9 mil and maybe they need to focus on the reason they excist!
