article from the Ben Beck and Buzz in the sunday mail today read

The plot Thickens at north adelaide, with the word out on who stabbed jars in the back
The story doing the rounds is that one high profile player was instrumental in his sacking

If you believe radio talk, Roger James will be announced (tomorrow or Wed) as the new coach and Jeff White has signed a 2 year deal at the Roosters as well.

First part may be right, however the mail here in Melbourne is that Jumping Jeff, if not offered an AFL lifeline, will play for Southport in the QAFL next year, apparently he will retire to the Gold Coast as his Mrs is from there...

Very sure White is on the Gold coast and if not picked up(AFL) will seek out a local QFL side to continue with. His AFL chances are slim as his manager has not had any calls. When speaking on SEN Jeff said that he and if wife would be settling on the Gold coast.

I think it goes back a bit further than that. A former players family member alledgedly involved did enough stirring to create some issues I believe.
Surely if a board took enough notice of the whims and bitchings of players to sack a coach, firstly the Board needs replacing and secondly, the players would be running the club.
Mind you, anything is possible at Roosterland nowadays.

There is way more to what has happened off field this year at North than any of the media would know about. That little "piece" in the Sunday Mail just stirs up a whole heap of unnecessary rumours, mis-truths and lies. Purely gossip page "trash" and not even 1/8th of the real story!
