We are only paying them the same as Handles canteen bill, which would put them on a pretty good wicket.

Laugh as you may but $2K a game for Wundke - no wonder South have had no success for years!

With NA's game plan in 2010 Plugger would have struggled....

He's probably not too worried as he also gets a car from Southgate Holden for being club captain.

True enough wcp but he only played 2 league games for the season - says something about his form, fitness and attitude! If he spent as much dedication and time to football as he did to eating freebies in the Kitchen at the Northern Tavern he might have actually been a valuable player. Looks like we swapped like for like then re Handby! Time will tell who got the better deal?

On a serious note, Handles does show a remarkable ability to trim the kilos at times. He should play inside for North and dish it out, making full use of Allan and Backwell playing outside.A much better handball than kick and fitness is his only problem. Saw the North time trials and thought he was 20 kilos over. He can lose it and probably is well on the way to doing so.

No fair point Doc and Handby was told that he had to shed the kilos and improve his aerobic capacity if he wanted to be a regular in the Seniors. It is up to him if he wants it otherwise he will be stuck in the ressies. Wundke also needs to apply some disciplines to his choices on and off the field if he is going to live up to the hype about him from when he busrtsd on to the scene in 2007.

Lucky they got that young fella Eagleton to get them over the line in the Granny! Anyway, now some signings will really start to happen!

Now that the drafts are over, the players waiting on the sidelines waiting to be drafted and have missed out will be freed up to select their potential new clubs.

I reckon South supporters can welcome at least another 2 recruits from interstate.

The player agents will be extremely busy from today!

Are you expecting him to dominate?? I'm not, I'm expecting him to be a solid contributer who adds some depth to our midfield. A like for like for Willoughby who has gone to St Igs.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

You forgot the word "minor", in front of premiership player.

I'm sure he'd be rapt to hear that after 150 AFL games he's equated to Willoughby.
