Bet they don't choose the soft option & merge...

I understand what Holden wrote was absolutely crap .

Just ever since the merge losing fans keep saying your only string cause it's two teams .
I understand why you returned his fire but honestly even to me with an friggin brain injury it's getting really old that one

I don't condone what Holden said as I'm sure eagles fans don't
But two teams

Play on...

It's silly season, the more banter the better!

Maybe we could start a useless banter thread for people that can't read the 'SANFL Player Movements 2015/2016' thread title.

Getting back on track with the top-up option. Port Power are crying for an additional player. It is highly unlikely anyone the get will play for the power. If they get their wish it is highly likely they may get a SANFL player. This would totally p-ss off any local club that could loose a player for next to nothing and have that player play against them in the local league. The SANFL will need to come out with a hands-off edict.

Why should Port have 1 less player ? They didn't do anything wrong ?

Ban Essendon for a year and problem would have been solved. Come in ABBA.

They were well aware of the situation with Ryder..

With Monfries the AFL rumour mill was in over time Koch is clutching at straws..

Really all the players have been found guilty bad luck, Gilligan was pathetic today.. They want the AFL to be treated as an equal on the international stage, accept the decision and move on or be a joke..

Can you please post the dates when Essendon were found guilty and Port recruited those players. I have no idea as i gave up following the saga. Lost respect for Hird when blatantly lied about wanting to coach Essendon initially. Would be interested in the cover up of Demetrious involvemnt here too.

Good luck with him - he has more off field issues than Dennis Rodman and has no work ethic!

Had great pace and athleticism at West but just couldn't get near the footy, even in the reserves. Used to win our time trials by ridiculous amounts. Watched him one night give the squad nearly half a lap in a time trial an still won

Not sure mate, haven't been out for a look .. Wouldn't expect to see a heap of him in the pre-season stuff, albeit there are conflicting reports on that

There was a guy at Norwood in the late 1950s, named "Horrie" Nelson, who was a bit like that - he used to over-run the ball and fumble it as a result.
