South have definitely upped the work rate this game and it’s been some of the lesser lights O’Neil and Schwarz sharing the load rather than relying on Gibbs and Haines
Kudos to them.

Well done, Panthers, well done. Did what you had to do when you had to do it. Took the game by the scruff when with the breeze early on, built a strong half time lead, and when challenged in the last absorbed North's intensity and then went up a cog to extend the lead. South also seemed to master the tricky conditions better than we did.
So, enjoy the win, Ye-ohs, as it's been a very long time in the making. I'm not sure if you can match it with the other three teams left in the comp, at least on paper, but I'll be behind you all they way. I suspect you'll front up against the Redlegs next Sunday, and if you continue today's form you'll be in with a big sniff.
A very disappointing way for North to finish the year, knowing how well we can play at our best, particularly after we trounced South at Noarlunga few weeks' back - all signs pointed to North being the most likely challenger to the Bays' dominance, and then our form simply vanished. In fact, I think today's game showcased both sides of our Jeckyll-and-Hyde form from this year. A badly needed ruckman and a fit Alex Barns would certainly be on the Roosters' 2022 wish-list (although frustratingly a ruckman appears to not be a feature of North's wish-list, ever since the end of 2018). Also, a disappointing way for Mitch Clisby to see out his SANFL career, who has been a great servant for the club over the last decade or so through good and bad times.
Now, off to the garden!

Be a few joining Clis, Schwarz being one of them

Our CIBO outfit
I assume those columns are names of past players or some such, but from a distance they look like light blue stripes. Is this the guernsey of the ill-fated Norwood-Sturt "Bluelegs" merger?

Was the “Fortis In Procella” merchandise initiative to raise funds from the pandemic loss of income. Think the names in the guernsey are of those supporters that purchased something from the range.

OK, cool. Sounds like a good money spinner for the Legs. I can see a few punters in the crowd with the guernsey on.
Norwood giving this game a good crack in the second...

Yep, you can see it. Eags will be too clinical in 2nd half
