I wonder if he's going to bring the batmobile or arrive by the batcopter?

In all due respect Wedgie if Skipworth did something bad to Campbell why didnt atleast 1 north player try to even up the score.

Will north put a complaint into the sanfl?

If your answers to these to questions are I dont know and no respectively then how bad could it have been.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

For the third time, the North players had their back to the inident as they were either watching the ball or chasing the ball, it happened behind play.

Cannot believe what I am reading from some posters on this site. Eagles supporters (the team that loves using the squirrel grip on many occasions and clutching opposition player's arms at centre bounces) saying that North and Central players are thugs. Please look at games more closely!
As for the incidents being talked about here, the attack on Campbell was at least ten times worse than the attack on Cooper. If it happened in the AFL, I would think Skippy would be missing for a long time.
Wedgie, correct me if I am wrong but I thought trial by video was still used in the SANFL. It certainly was last year.
Cheers!

i have not seen the incident, and i do not want to judge it by a frame by frmae still shot

but i do know, when you coach footballers to tackle you teach them to

1. pin the arms
2. drive the tackle to the ground
3. release the tackle once the ball has spilled

so i have no issues with skippy pinning the arms and driving the tackle to the ground, but once he is aware the ball has released he needs to release the tackle

last year I had a full shoulder recon caused by a driving tackle, the ball spilled underneat me and the opposition player continued with the shoulder pin when i was on the ground

i did not have an issue with the player pinning my arms and driving me to the ground nor the player lying on top of me continueing to pin my arms even though he had inflicted a serious injury, I am over the ball, I was trying to release my arms to knock the ball forward towards goal, while he has every right to hold the tackle

he won a ball up, I won a shoulder recon, that's footy

good points SD but you do not twist a kid who is in his first year of league footy arm off behind the play when nobody but the tv cameras waching and the ball is miles away being contested

heater31

that was my point, i have not seen the live footage and was not aware of the position of the ball, if the ball is out of the area then skippy should of released the tackle, if somehow the young fella falls on the ball, skippy can hold the tackle

so heater31, going by your clarity, skippy should of released the tackle

As Wedgie has already said I dont know how many times ALL of the North players were focusing on the ball which was towards the flank where Campbell was tackled in the centre line. Next thing Campbell is jogging off to the bench holding his arm and the replay followed. Skipworth had pinned both arms in the tackle then proceded to drive Campbell further into the ground bringing his forearm toward his shoulder. the lowest act on a footy field is to pick on kids IMO. Me being a Neutral yesterday I hurled abuse aimed Skipworth amogst some Eagles fans including my old man they all went quiet. for the only time that day I was on the side of the North fan across the aisle from us who was just as irate jeez did he give me the shites before and after that moment.

We have as much chance of seeing you Sunday as the Eagles have of winning. Let's hope Skipworth gets lost and parks his car near the North gathering - that would be more interesting than punching the remainder of the hot air out of your pea sized brain.
