Was one of the more interesting Grand Final Media Conferences I can remember attending.

Andy Collins seemed in a fiesty mood, Bass happy to deflect or shut down any question.

don't blame you...

no one has given west any respect and the overwhelming sense of disappointment when they made the grand final was pretty ordinary

they have had a great year and made the GF- good on them. wingers need to quit complaining and beat them, until then ur not good enough

same as the people complaining about centrals being in the granny every year..if u don't like it step up

$30 wtf I will be going regardless being a legs supporter for 42 years but in these economic times & the standing of the SANFL why so expensive. The sanfl.GF Used to be affordable but this now is in danger of being a disapointing turn out..not much can be done now
I would love to know how these prices are figured out I am sure some economic bean counter would come up with some economic theory that would show that the price is set so it doesn't devalue the product .
Well I can tell you that overpricing the entry fee devalues the product more. The fact that loyal supporters from non participating clubs are not attending because of the price should ring alarm bells to the sanfl.
Andy Collins you are right.

FWIW, the last time Norwood beat West for the flag was the 1922 "Final" (9-7:61 to 2-16:28) with "Grand Finals" under the "Page" finals system not introduced until 1931. Norwood have never actually beaten West in a "Grand Final" per se, 1947 being the other of two attempts prior to this weekend.

We will be going regardless as it has become a ritual since the birth of our daughter in Oct 1999, we have been at footy park every gf day since. but this year we will go in reverse order, and get there early and cheer the ressies to a flag, and then go and have our bbq.!
AC did a good job with his indignant stand yesterday, but westies do not, as a rule, play football worth watching, and as a consequence, there is no incentive at all to watch the late game.

not sure why Bassett wouldnt try and promote a good crowd, or is it because he really doesnt give a **** about the sanfl. He has used the sanfl as a step-ladder, no problems but surely give some respect to the comp you self righteous caffe latte sipping arrogant wanka

As you're a Glg supporter, I can understand that you're disappointed over missing out on a Finals campaign AGAIN
