THAT TACTIC
The CD warming up near the players race
Several posters saying it was not a good move by CD to do it
Nothing wronggg with it in my opinion
IF CD had of won the game, then people would be posting what a good tactical ploy it was
The result of the game makes no diff in my opinion
In fact for 10 minutes it was a good ploy as CD led 1-1 to 0-0 and NW looked a little rattled by CDs hard tactics

INJURIES OVER FENCES
Here is something I got told today
In the NA V NW game a few weeks ago
A spectator tumbled over the boundary fence and broke his ribs and punctured a lung

I was told today that the broken leg was not the only injury to happen at the kick on the oval at the parade this season. Person I spoke to knew of someone doing an ACL on the oval and didn't see the finish of the game as they went to hospital to confirm that it was snapped

Left footer, might have come off a Carlton or Footscray list I think .. I don't recall him being at the club long, maybe a season or two.

Had a family friend playing in that match for Norwood, who reckons that a Norwood player started the fracas by spoiling one of the Dogs players during the warmup.

I had a feeling Buckley played for the Brisbane Bears, just looked it up, seems he did, and also Carlton and St Kilda.

Seems he played only a few games for the Bears in their debut year, before moving to the Redlegs.

Who cares anyway? Chances are, if he reckons a players is dumb, he's told him to his face. Don't have to be smart to play footy.

...and for a prime example, you don't need to look further than pumpa.

Well, that is true - he did play for Glenelg ;)

Word is that Pumpa copped a 1 match ban for shoving Reinbrecht into the brick wall...

I remember Craig Kelly smashing the match stick McAdam into the Southern end point post which finished McAdam for the day.
Great tactic Mr. Kerley. This one backfired too as Centrals were thrashed that day as well.

Also remember minor premiers Centrals under Hicks telling his players to do a lap of honour BEFORE the game. Glenelg were infuriated and smashed Centrals that day who went out of the finals in straight sets. Nice one Daryl.

A) I don't think it made him look stupid and B) I doubt Roy would care what people think about 1 episode.

If you guys win the flag noone will care.

If anything I applaud him for trying something unconventional, certainly made the pre-game more interesting for supporters.

Stupid? No that was just Roy showing us all what a cunning stunt he really is!

If only you could hear what Bassett says about some of his players around the corridors at work. Not complimentary.

Interesting. Where is this then?

He has media work also

So Bass walks the corridors of 5AA belittling the NFC players??? Yeah right, ok, no worries!

Again, he was pretty blunt about some players during the president's lunch on Sunday.

Examples:

Luke Jericho: "He's pretty unique".

Batsanis: "I think the Advertiser's more excited about his form than I am".

There were a couple of others but by then the sherbs had kicked in.

I don't think he belittles, is just very honest.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

If that's how you want to interpret things. Just because I don't believe it doesn't mean it isn't true, like God and Jesus,I don't believe that fairy tale either but if the Bible is "proof" they exist then is a Batman comic proof Batman exists?
Do you work at 5AA??
