Been some weird things happen at Norwood oval over the last 12 months. Light bulb falling from a tower during a Norwood v West game last year and then this. There was also the blackout at a baseball game earlier in the year when the bite were trailing 8-0 after 2 innings. The match had to be restarted the next day.

Hard to go for the ball when you're not looking at it. Poorly handled by the umpire, though. Finished his reporting duties after Sansbury had been and gone with no signal. Dogs players had all run forward, then turned the ball over to the Norwood player to pass into the most open forward 50. No issue with the decision but the signalling and communication were terrible.

Agree Grahaml about the umpires call, was poor. Centrals players thought Gowans still had the free and they all tan forward, the umpire then gives the free our way. Poorly done IMO, luckily didnt cost you a goal
