Another important big man (KPP). I wonder if he's been sent over by Mathew Lokan?

He spent 3 years on an Essendon 'country NSW' list. H came over and trained a bit with West, also spoke with Werribee but ended up signing with Port. He is only young, but moves well and has some good skills.

Rumour down south that Mitch Sandery spoken to Ron Fuller about returning to SAFC which terms have been agreed upon. Hope so, we miss his presence and experience in the backline.

When has all this happened? I have some mates that play at TTG and he was spotted at TTG training last week in his playing/assistant coach role.

Interesting comments in the MMCM column re Sandery's return to South:

Coach of the week: Ron Fuller (South). Fuller made two great decisions this week - one on field and one off field. At Prospect on Saturday he must have been tempted to play Shaun McKernan in the ruck more given Keegan Brooksby and Daniel Bass were getting touched up by James Craig in the middle. But Ron held fire, backing his midfield to win enough ball and kept McKernan in attack where he was a great foil for Ainger. The off field call I liked was welcoming 2009 Knuckey Cup winner Mitchell Sandery back to the club. Sandery chose to play in Darwin instead of completing preseason with South, a decision which might have spelled the end of his career in the past. But Fuller appears to have softened his stance since his early days at South when he took a hardline approach to some players' commitment. Sandery could be handy for South this year, adding experience to the Panthers' defence and a shutdown option to throw at dangerous small forwards.

Wonder what Craig Parry thinks of this although he would be laughing now having won a Flag with the Eagles after being forced out of Noarlunga? Maybe the powers to be told Fuller he was a tool for the stance he made with Parry when it meant losing one of the leagues best ruckman with his ability and experience and hence the return of Sandery?
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Unfortunate it took the loss of the leagues most dominant ruckman and now premiership ruckman to loosen his stance on post-season requirements.

Quote;

I would just like to add a note for all supporters who may be interested in how Mitch Sandery was back playing for us and to clear up some misconceptions.

Mitch never actually spoke to me but said to Neill Sharpe that he wanted to play in Darwin over the summer and being uncontracted he could do as he wished.

Neill did tell him however, that if he did choose to come back, the same conditions he had in regard to his previous contract, might not be available.

Mitch was ok with that and as a result decided to play in Darwin and retire from the SANFL.

Since coming back to Adelaide he approached us and said he did in fact want to play SANFL at our club again.

His conditions aren’t the same but he still chose to come back out and we welcome him back to the club.

He's gone back to his local club Jervois in RMFL. Was injured in first game of the season, there's talk he may have torn his hamstring off the bone.
