Was an ordinary performance but think it's far too early to be calling for Norman's head as I personally feel he's up against it at the moment with the amount of players lost since the 2009 grand final, a grand final we were said not to be able to make because of personnel losses from the previous year.

What I will say though - again - is there seems to be a real reluctance to kick long when under pressure and on Saturday I felt this was magnified due to the conditions and you get the impression the opposition coaches base their game plans around this reluctance.

My knowledge of Sturt is pretty ordinary which players who were named against Port played in the 09 GF

would it be
-Thomson
-Plant
-Gum
-Crane
-Sheedy
-Cubillo
-McLeay
-Kurtze?
-Evans

Your wording of that is a bit unclear but if I understand you properly, I reckon nearly all of those guys would've played bar Thomson who was still in Victoria.

No Thomson or Kurtze . Another strange move leaving out a ruckman and going with only Bowen.

Fair enough they were the two i really wasnt sure about. For comparison sake only Central had 8 players on the weekend who played in the 09 GF

From memory we had huge injury doubts surrounding many of our talls. Chambers, Thurstans and I think Kurtze and Herring may have been under a cloud

Herrinng got dropped and Kurtze was dropped for the Prelim against Glenelg , just clear my throat ,so Norman thought it would work again with 1 ruckman. Good move as Cenntrals only had hacks as ruckman that year I think. McKenzie and Giles.

That's a Port bloke in the SANFL state guernsey. Point is no matter how they are dressed, nor where they go, they'll still attract the cops. ;)

Hell Jimmy, probably better if you stay home!
My record is I haven't seen a loss since 2000. But I have only been to 1 game in that time, which was West at Unley in the mid 2000s, the year where the only team we beat was West and everyone else pummeled us.
