I don't hold out a lot of hope, Gallagher out hurts us. I just don't think our midfield will be good enough. Central by 5 goals.

This looks like a great tussle between a tried and tested game plan against a developing and in-form game plan.

Agree with earlier posts. Our form leading up to this has been ordinary to patchy at best.
Our side has not really had a chance to settle this year with too many injuries to key players impacting. Interesting to see how the young inclusions perform though.
Norwood has started to hit some kind of form and would have to start favourites.
The weather might bring the result closer though.

This game is going to be a draw. Both sets of supporters are claiming underleg status.

Yeah only coming off a 7 game winning streak. :?

Whats the bet that if the dogs win it will be one of those inspiring, backs to the wall, victories. Like every one of the eagles wins this year.

I think Our form has been good, fair enough, We scraped in against North but We can't win every game by 10 goals! We beat South at night on their oval by 6 goals, they are probably a 5 to 6 goal better side in those conditions, therefore We probably would have thrashed them if it were at Elizabeth. We beat The Wiggles & they are 2nd, We beat Sturt at Unley for the 1st time in ages too. We smashed South at home, belted The Bays on their oval & comfortably beat Norwood at Adelaide Oval, sounds pretty good from where I sit!

A bit of an unsettled side this week. That, plus the fact it is now June (the time we traditionally take the foot off the pedal a little bit) swings this match in favour of Norwood.

G'day Centurion, glad to see you are out of hospital and back on deck, hopefully with a full health card.

Might like to go back and look at the NFC forum again, you will note that those 2 supporters have been howled down by the majority with the common denominator being if you cant respect what Centrals have achieved over the past 10 years, how can you ever expect to win against them.

Also noted comments about Centrelink underachievers is considered very lame and not worthy of its post.

Remember our comments last year, Centrals and Norwood are great yardsticks of each other, this will be a great competitive game no matter who is named to wear the jumpers, cross the white line its game on.

Really hoping the Centrals crowd come out for this one and make it a record 10,000 for a home game for season 2011.

Norwood by a smidge, but then again I barrack for em ;)

Cheers,

By the way, good luck to Kristian Roocke, Michael Chippendale and Patrick Kerin in the magoos.
Great to see former Iggies boys on the way up!
(also Henry DePoi at Sturt - currently in the Under 18's)
Cheers

If we lose, I'll be using our annual excuse that our block of heavy training has started earlier than usual ;)

But seriously it should be a cracker if recent history is anything to go by. Reckon the Legs are in the middle of a roll though where as the Dogs are just at the end of theirs.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Congratulations to David Haydon who will make his league debut today for the Dogs.

Image

From what I can work out, there will be 4 changes to the Central side today.

INS: A.Duncan, A.Hayes, L.Habel, D.Haydon (debut)

OUTS: B.Symes (Crows), J.Gunston (Crows), J.Hardy (foot), J.Boyd (AC joint)

that's 4 very handy players to lose all in 1 hit, a good test for the less-experienced players today.
