It appears there's an IQ level at which this pretty obvious point gets ignored.

No response to the Robran or Sacshe example from the part owner of this site which is typical, he always squibs it when he's wrong.

Adios.

So what about players taunting an injured player? Thats OK?

If Cornesy had his way...lets see: there'd be no travelling to Elizabeth, no drinking, no taunting of opposition players....

So in summary;
A dude at the footy made an off the cuff remark, said in jest, when a player went done injured.
Another dude who works in the media heard the comment and decides to use his position in the media to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
Some other dudes who obviously don't like the 1st dude use this thread to have a dig.
Then the 1st dude accuses another innocent dude of being Fozzie Bear.

Analysis.
The media dude is being a troll
Some dudes don't like the 1st dude but are happy to use the 1st dudes website when it suits them
If that is the worst that is said at a footy match then SANFL hasn't half got soft

I have a bucketload of respect for Cornsey as a great player and a Vietnam veteran who fought for our country. I sometimes agree with his views expressed in the media and sometimes not.

But in this case he is wrong. I read the article today and, yes, he is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Which is partly his media role I suppose - to try to generate controversy.

Its not like I was trying to break into a bar via an air conditioning vent and got stuck while drunk or anything.
Imagine the sort of article that sort of shenanigans would warrant!
Or will it?

Just curious because rival commercial networks may sometimes take up a story on rival station personalities. Perhaps providing another angle to the story put forward by the said personality?

Notice how Cornes uses the names of AFL players in his article but doesn't use the name of the Glenelg player? Does he not know the player's name?

Anyway, probably better using "the young Glenelg footballer" than writing "no. 11 for Glenelg" if that is the case ;)

Alby, the easiest way to determine this to listen to his show, and when someone questions about putting the footy live on a Friday night, listen to the response.
