Congratulations to Central on a well deserved victory and continuing the amazing run.

Also, Norwood this year generated a much needed boost to the competition and can hold their heads high ... well done.

Regarding that bump, I hope the lad will be OK but that typifies the difference between the AFL and SANFL for me.

A totally far and legal bump by a champion player that is a part of our game

What can I say, flares, good old selective WESLO and an attrocious winning supporter.....must be another Centrals Flag.
Anyone who knows a bald bloke flown over from Sydney with his missus in the members area, tell him he acted like a petulant baby and maybe next time save the flight money for the therapy. If you can't shake someone's hand in congratulations, even after you've told them "**** you", then you are just a tool, have a good look at yourself.
To the Father of a past Central player sitting in the members area (now playing in the Gawler League? with his brother), it was great to watch a great game of footy with you and shake your hand at the end, it's what footy is all about.
Again, Well done Doggies. =D>

Don't reckon it was Sladeys dad, wouldve remembered that name, anyway he was a good bloke.

Stick that up your MONSFAW.

Was lucky enough to be in the rooms after the game. Nathan Bassett and James Gallagher spoke very very well. I seriously think Bassett will go to the AFL he handles himself very professionally.

Happy retirement to Tim Weatherald Daniel Schell Adam Switala Richie Cochrane and Richard Williams.

James Boyd and his premiership medallion says hi Topsy.

sorry, had to post this, just saw it on The Redlegs Forum, no kidding, some people!!

"Of the 38,000 people there it felt like 3/4 were Norwood people based on the noise and the colours in the crowd.
As Norwood people we should be proud of our support and conduct and it was devistating to lose after such a brave effort. Well done us !

And now the Centrals supporters ....I use that term with tongue in cheek.
Apart from the two groups of ferals behind the goals we hardly heard them until the siren went ....then when all was safe they started.
I have never seen such human filth in one place at one time. What do they put in the water out there because 90% of that scum were physically or mentally impared and acted like released animals.
I was getting a drink and accidently stepped on one of them and his reaction was ....hey watch out you trod on my new shoes. He was wearing thongs !
A guy walking into the game asked the thing next to him ....do you think they will let me in without a bottle ?
Lining up to buy a ticket the 6 Centrals muck in front of me ...all bought concession tickets. We as hard working tax paying normal people have to support this crap as well ? 25 year old pensioners ...come on !"

Just hate loosing to that excrement ! I will never be content in life until we beat that filth in a Grand Final ...next year !

Well done yesterday Dogs. Despite the loss, the pain is still there for the Legs - players, coaches, staff and supporters, but at least there is also some pride.

Those who want other clubs to rise up to the Dogs standard - fair enough. But I think Norwood is well on the way to doing that given results in the last half dozen or so matches, not just yesterday.

The club was heartened by what Roy Laird, Paul Thomas and Kris Grant said to them afterwards behind closed doors and appreciated the respect that was given to them. Nonetheless, it was an opportunity missed. Plenty of 'what ifs' linger in the mind but they wont change the history books. So the best thing that can come out of that game is the motivation to go one more step.

If there is a highlight that springs to mind it is the fact that so many of our players were young with little league experience. It's a long season and to see guys like Georgiou, Jonas, Fuller, Shenton etc all on the big stage was great - that experience cant be bought and one day, it might be the difference being winning and losing a GF ourselves.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.
