Glen Elliot is a quality individual and helped me out personally when he was at the Bay. With the strong foundations off the field he has built for the NAFC, the club would surely be mad to get rid of him. Hpe the baord has more faith in him than the supporters have.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why was he sacked from the Bays?

Why was he sacked as coach of Broadview mid-season in 1992?

Don't know, I was part of the Stringer purge at the end of '96....

Just cos he helped you out personally doesn't make him a quality individual nor does it change the fact that he is a cancer on the NAFC.

Hang on, he's only the CEO, not JC himself. ^:)^
I reckon the Board might have had a fair input into their business decisions, he's paid to impliment and oversee them.

A mate of mine helped me out personally once. Maybe North should appoint him?

Perhaps not, but it does give him a genuine opportunity to form an opinion of the man himself and not just fire shots at him because he happens to be in charge of the clubs while it drops its head in shame.

Takes more than one person to rock a boat of that size and although I have no involvement with ambays, the NAFC or Elliott, I do, from your comments, gather more understanding of why your club is a laughing stock.

Ever stop to think that i may have had plenty of opportunity to form a genuine opinion of the man as well? I am not firing shots based on nothing Booney but believe what you like. You are right though in saying that it takes more than one person to rock a boat that size. Problem is that there are plenty of people helping to do the rocking.

North supporters have been cautious of Elliott for a number of years, it's not a recent thing.

He tells you what he thinks you want to here, not what he (or the board) are really planning
Nepotism & Patronism are rife within NAFC

I hear on the 'vine' a former South player who retired a few weeks ago may have been thrown a lifeline by the impending new NAFC coach

Handby has made no secret to many that he wants to continue his career at Prospect. Maybe our new coach(es) and fitness team can get him into shape (along with M. Wundke!)
