Sorry, I was talking about the lights.

Surely there is some sort of standard the lights have to be before sport can be played in it.

I think with a slight adjustment those lights will be fine, the crowd seemed to be better lit up than the centre circle but as I said before it was easily superior to Elizabeth.
Put less light on the crowd and more on the centre corridor and they will be good IMHO.

PS I thought the crowd would be somewhere between 1 and 100,000. I was spot on! :D

The AFL recommends a minimum for State League games of 300 lux, which is what we have at Richmond.
Gee TSG, the lights aren't bright enough, posters' match reports are too long to read - I'm starting to think your eyes are a little delicate.

Yep, very delicate nickname.

Still. IMO the lights at Richmond are sub standard. Then again, what did anyone really expect when they were only switched on 48 hrs before the start of the game.

"Look, our TSG is the only one in step".

Mate, the only thing sub-standard about Friday night was your team's effort.

I look forward to the day you post something positive about anything.

I understand West supporters are a bit sensitive about their lights, but I'm not the only one who has mentioned it. Trust me, if they were at Prospect, I wouldn't be happy about it, as it would mean I would see them more than once a year max.

I thought the lights were okay, certainly better than other suburban grounds. Perhaps you aren't used to a ground that runs North/South and the goals line up?

Well done West & North supporters.
I was 1 of probably 1000 non supporters of either club that attended the game.
I thoroughly enjoyed the display of hard contested football executed by the Bloods, that type of consistant footy should see them shape the 5.

If you were able to see North's performance then I'm surprised you aren't complaining that the lights were too bright.
The standard is 300 lux, our lights are 300 lux, therefore our lights are not substandard.
