Depresed and angry and unable to come up with anything witty?
Worried about other clubs more than your own despite your club being mediocre?
Then try a few dozen Coopers Lagers and you'll be the centre of any party and you'll forget who you follow!! :D

North Adelaide, Port merger, no flag for years. Is the comment above North Adelaides new club moto?

http://www.sanfl.com.au/partners/sanfl_partners/

Having a closer look at the SANFL partners, Balfours are still a key partner yet Im sure you can get Vilis from many of the grounds.

Im also sure there are other finance companies that sponsor clubs even though the SANFL partner is Savings and Loans (i.e. Mortgage Choice at Glenelg)

So again I cant see the issue, mountain out of a mole hill???

We North people are the first to admit our club is mediocre and under achievers when it comes to Premierships etc - especially in comparison to the Magpies (or is it the Power that have all the history?) however off field remind me of who that word applies to - the NAFC or the PAMFC?
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Oh North are extremely mediocre, but were still not as mediocre as some.
At least our supporter marches get about 2000 more than a mediocre one would.
North's rally was vintage!
Speaking of Vintage I might have to dig one of my Coopers Vintage Beers out ofthe cupboard soon! :D

Boring it may be but so is your obvious hate for the NAFC! If you are going to "sledge" then be prepared to take it as well?

Well then isn't the assumption to be drawn from that that those companies didn't have any 'exclusivity' arrangements in their contracts, but that Lion Nathan did?
It's not a matter of what other companies' arrangements are, or what might be fair, it's about this particular contractual arrangement.

And yes, I hear ya R&B.

Boring it definately isn't OTR with the amount of interest shown in this thread!
If it does die down and we find ourselves with more time on our hands Id recommends buying a Micro Brewery kit and using the wonderful assortment of Coopers Home Brew kits.
I've experimented with a few different types in the past and can safely say Coopers Home Brew is easily the best! :D

Do Lion Nathan have this in place? Does it extend to the clubs? Can the SANFL enforce this on the clubs?

That is exactly the issue and that's what's being thrashed out now. I'm reliably informed Lion Nathan believe they have that in place.

I don't know what all the fuss is about with North now selling Coopers beer...it's just North stealing another clubs idea (again)!!!

Or maybe North were pissed at West End because you have to win a couple of premierships in close succession before they issue a commemorative can!

Securing a sponsorship is stealing another clubs idea??? I suppose Centrals invented sponsorship then?

Post of the year and we're only in March. :D

I might have to crack open a Asahi to celebrate.

Me thinks someone has had far too many coopers over a long period of time. Might stay off that stuff it looks like it does funny things to people.
