All three teams he was involved with Vikings, Pack and Jets made the playoffs last year so its not like his involvement destroyed a club. But the media coverage (and TV ratings) have been amazing for just one player. And as a 40yo myself I like him showing the young'uns how its done.

Looking forward to going to the Frozen Tundra for a Packers game in Oct 2011.

You'll love it at 1265 Lombardi Avenue, PhilH.
I was there to see the Packers trounce those mongrel Cowboys 45-17 in a Showdown in TitleTown clash in 1997. Got on Packers radio and all the day before, when my Wolverines belted those Buckeyes in Fight Week.

I still have my menu fron the 50 Yard Line. Be sure to eat/drink there. And wait until you see the tailgating done there! 90,000 people live in Green Bay, there'll be 75,000 in the Stadium and 60,000 in the car park! Go Pack Go.

Back on topic, the new Eagles jumper is awful. :D

But both Wiki sites say they're colours are Green and Gold and Yellow and Gold. If you look a the gold on the Aussies cricket uniform of recent years, that's gold. All other is yellow.

If you google "gold" vs google-ing "yellow" you'll realise that the guernsey you see here is yellow.

Well our colours in our song say GOLD
Seeing your neither a fan or Eagles member what you think say or write isn't really taken into account re the jumper .
No offence but thats the "GOLD" jumper and thats what the team will be winning games in .End of story really .

Ok, I (and others) are happy to agree that we're colour blind then. Sorry to have an opinion.

My old man was a Torrens supporter, and since I've been old enough to barrack for the blues, I've known Torrens as Yellow and Blue (my old man took me to Torrens games in the 70's and 80's mentioning such). {My opinion only so take it for what it's worth.}

Look I'm not arguing I called it yellow and was corrected .and I followed torrens in the 70's and 80's and called it yellow as well.Im just saying what I have been told .
You can call it what ever u want the club will call it gold .

My mum and all of her family followed Torrens since the 1930s (she reckons that she has seen 5 of their six premierships) not a bad effort. She and all of my old time relatives always referred to Torrens as Gold and Blue, NEVER Blue and yellow.

An as another aside the 1977 Melbourne Cup winner, Gold and Black was owned by a Glenelg supporter. As far as I can remember the sash on Glenelg's guernsey was a much more golden colour than Richmond's which seemed a washed out yellow in comparison.

I think his point was don't necessarily believe what they tell you, if they tell you the jumper has gold they're obviously not too reliable (or colour blind)!

As I said before in this post what non eagles members think doesn't really matter .As the same people seem not to like either North's away jumper or Sturt's away jumper .Both clubs seem to be still using them.
As will the eagles .

So rather than waste time going on and on.I understand the majority of non eagles football fans hate it .If the eagles posters on here who hate the jumper are members. Then all they have to do is tell the club.

BUT it will be the only jumper the club wears in 2010 so you'll get to see it every game guys ;)
From now until we win the flag   ;)

I am not sure centrals followers should be commenting too much on Jumper designs. I think they had the worse one ever back in the 80s when it was mostly white. Well at least they did change it to something remotely better :)

We changed it because it didn't win flags. Glenelg kept theirs because it doesn't win flags either! :D :D

since 1990 , this is the seventh jumper  . All they had to do with this effort was make the blue and green front slightly larger , then stick that dirty big gold Eagle with the black outline , on the front ! Fifties tradition fused with a modern look !! This Les Stevens era logo has to go ( like he did ) .

I think the Eagles need to employ the services of the young girl who designed the "Power" jumper because the boys in the laboratory at Oval Ave have come up with another dud.

i saw it at todays trial & thought it looked good & a lot lot better than some of the 'previous' jumpers because it looked like a football jumper not some artwork
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

As I said in the photo album thread, out on the field it didn't look to bad which was a surprise because I hated it at the beginning of this thread.

Could probably have black numbers rather than white. Would make it a bit easier to read. But other than that, a good jumper.

I've come a long way.... Didnt like the photos of it originally but have now seen it twice and I reckon it is the best we've had. Finally, a jumper that looks like a football jumper. Even goes well in the wet after we gave South a bath today....
