To win a premiership and make constant finals appearances with a team of players that hate him takes rare skill.

I bet South hope their players hate him just as much.

look at the amount of players that left because of him. That is more to the point.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Was that because he expected them to cut down on drinking and actually train occasionally. or was their something else to it?

Could someone please decipher this for me? :?

Dimma = Damien Hardwick, now coach of Richmond, who when playing at Port, was aligned with Glenelg for his local club. He enjoyed playing for the Bays, and when he moved over to Hawthorn as an assistant, recommended the Bays to Ben Kane & Ruory Kirkby, when they got delisted from them.

Thanks! :D

Eagles pulled up way short again in 09 of the salary cap , as skippy was again factored into the mix at the start of the year ........ with no recruiting done after his Bombers deal . Cheep was already lined up as was Kenneth Mc. So we will squeeze him in !
ferret wrote:Skippy claims his delisting/ retirement from the Bombers relates to injury problems, are the injuries bad enough to preclude him from playing SANFL, also, if he wants to play is there enough room in the salary cap?
Might make a good assistant to Godden!!!!!!

Former Roosters star and SANFL State player Jason Roe has just been delisted by the Brisbane Lions...

At 25 years old, will be interesting to see if another AFL club shows interest, if not will the NT native come back to the SANFL and play for North Adelaide ???

I can confirm both Zac Millar (ex North Adelaide) and Craig Taylor (ex Sturt/Port) both of which played div2 ammos with Eastern Park last season will be doing a full pre season with Centrals with the hope of getting either a senior or reserves contract.

Most people will probably say that they have no hope of breaking into the Dogs league side but you never know, many wouldn't have thought Ware, Slattery, Jenner and Nason would have done as well as they have. So goodluck to these two lads.

Also noticed Shane Valenti was delisted by Melbourne, apparently Central had all but signed him last year and then he was taking in the draft, will be interesting to see if they go after him again this year.

Or will he go back home to play with the NT Thunder in the QAFL. They are targeting key position players allegedly they offered Ah Chee a contract.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yeah, that is alos a big possibility am Bays...

I personally think Roe is good enough to be given another opportunity at AFL level, did have a few injury issues this year...

The Gold Coast is also recruiting players for its VFL team so it will be very competitive for clubs.

Is Tommy Hamilton also joining them for a crack at the big time?

If Millar has his head on right he'd walk into a contract at any club, oozes skill but has been a loose cannon in the past, if he can get that right he'll be a gun, its a very big IF though.

Roey never did like the cold weather of the southern states, playing out of Darwin would suit him, hopefully we'll throw so much cash at him he can't resist though. ;)

As far as im aware he hasn't been asked to go out there but i could be wrong, im surprised he didn't go out to North Adelaide's tryout day. He definately has the potential to play league football IMHO, only issue would be if he has enough leg speed at league level, hey may have to tone down a bit to gain extra speed but i doubt he would wanna do that ;)

Eagles had Shane Valenti signed, sealed but not delivered before he was rookie listed by Melbourne. Don't think they would be interested now.
