I must say 80% of 18s in the Reserves & 2\3rds of the 18s in the League side is the biggest amount of sh!t i've heard in a long time, you can't be serious stating that sort of crap on here, you may well be getting something in return for pumping up the tyres of the man in charge of the 18s but theres still a big difference to coaching League football to u\18s.

Let me start by making it perfectly clear that I have absolutely NO, 0, NADA, affiliation with the PAMFC in any capacity whatsoever. All I ever do is try and put some balance among all the vitriol directed at the Magpies.

I also respect your opinions in many instances NM, so I will not resort to abuse in stating my case for the defence.

Played LEAGUE/ RESERVES 2009:

Xavier Watson, Mark Dolling, Matthew Phillips, Casey Carr, Daniel Batson, Zane Kirkwood, Kerren Hall, Steve Summerton, Jay Shannon, Luke Harder, Daniel Stanley, Kory Beard, Sam Mardling, Jordan Erskine, Daniel Kulikwalski, Ryan McInerney, Samuel Gray, Matthew Sharpe, Josh Walker, Troy Wilkey, Michael Clinch, Nick Madden, Jack Nlligan, Matt Rose, Aaron Wiles, Ricky Stoyanoff, Todd Hughes, Corey Grove, Scott Lycett, Terry Milera, Brad Mercer, Kynan Buhlman, Luke Carey, Nick Frost, Josh Moody, Ben Butler, Rhys Clinton

All are products of the Port Adelaide Junior Development System, all are very talented, and all are the future of the club.

Good to see you've retracted your venemous attack NM

My understanding is that Nick Frost and Josh Moody are both on long term injury.

I also headlined it as League AND Reserves. To make it simple for you I've highlighted the talented juniors that have played (or will play) League football this year.

Well, all you magpie diehards! Your on here discussing who is going to be your next coach. Im going to turn it around and say confidently and sincerely who should have STAYED your coach 5 years ago! YES roll your eyes, go ahead deny it! The proof is in the pudding or RESULTS! MATHEW KNIGHTS! I have NO DOUBT the Port Magpies would have had a flag by now. But go ahead and make another wrong decision,it will probably be your third wrong one in a row! GO U BOMBERS!!!!!!!

Mead NO

David Granger NO
Is it true he is going to the TABs when a horse called Grave Danger runs ?
He has sMALl amounts like a $1 on Grave Danger to win
He then autographs the TAB ticket and sells them for $5 to $10
I reckon this nag is still a maiden after about 40 starts or so
This is a dinkum story told to me by a punter
?

Bamford
Yes a definite contender if the rumourmongers are correct

Fair enough.

But I noticed you glossed over the 20 highlighted juniors that have played League.

Not at all, i'm not sure whether all those players you've highlighted have all played League  not to many there are League regulars like you've state 2\3rds of them are ( far from it actually )
The way you put it beenreal all these youngsters are out of your current 18s side, if you couldn't get 10 blokes playing "some" league from the juniors over the last 2-3 years theres something terribly wrong.
I'm all for the DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME currently in place trust me but i hate it when people over exaggerate the truth & name players that have either come from interstate local or country & claim them as their programme developed kids.
Actually 50% or more of the current league side would be recruits & not through the PROGRAMME.
Read todays budget & note the recruits that play in the League to those from the PROGRAMME.

Absolute rubbish NO MERCY. Every player I bolded has played at least 1 League game, which at least gives them a taste of the level they need to aspire to over the coming pre-season.

And I never mentioned the U18s but rather the junior program which has been in place (and working) for the past 4-5 years. And I couldn't give a toss whether they have been recruited into the program from elsewhere. The important part is they are learning to play football the Port Adelaide way.

Marty's got bigger things on his mind at the moment like trying to get the Boston Tigers B grade in to the GF this week. Still having a kick and still the most influential player on the ground.....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Really? With the U18s sitting 2nd, and the Reserves sitting 3rd, I read things a little differently!

Slot him in a back-pocket...
