Not sure I'd lump Backwell in that category. Ball player only. Gowans x 2, Cupido, Clayton have certainly had run ins with the tribunal. All of those players mentioned bar Backwell have given me plenty to abuse them for against my side over the journey.

Backwell isn't immunised against the tribunal for visitation either - he was a lucky boy to win his Magarey a couple of years back, his Round 23 effort wasn't all that grouse...

Just on the ground, anyone who has to watch a game there or is a member of any SANFL club has a right to put forward an opinion about the ground.
Isnt the property sub leased from the Adelaide City Council?
If it is I'd say the SACA members have no more right than Joe Blow who never goes there and that it would be the rate payers in the Adelaide City Council would have the most right.
Reading the reports Im amazed to find out that the catering could be any worse than what it normally is as in the past Adelaide Oval made a run down Prospect seem like the MCG.
The only thing this heap of a ground had going for it in the past was the pretty ambiance and it sounds like they're gradually getting rid of that! Very smart.

I don't think Chris Gowans has ever copped games either.
However, you commented that the others had "run ins" - Backwell has too, all I'm saying.

Agree to disagree on AO. The proposed development looks fantastic IMO.

My only criticism about the new stands: it seems like there's a gap between the stand and the roof. There must be a valid reason for that.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I guess the gas and aroma of the aging members farts needs to escape somehow! 8-x
Hate to be sitting up the back and have no escape! ^#(^
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
