Apparently he was orginally a redleg, his missus was a tiger and now both follow North.

Was Norwood as a kid as both my parents were Norwood supporters, decided they weren't the club for me and chose the best option after weighing up everything when I was about 10 in 1980. (ie beer prices)
I still remember my Year 2 teacher at Camden Park Primary bribing every single kid in the class to barrack for Glenelg with stickers, I was the only one that held out as I was the only 7 year old with intestinal fortitutide. :D

Anyone could just blindly follow the same club as their parents or fall for a free sticker, but it takes a smart resilient kid to sit down at age 10 and work out which club in the league would suit him best and go that way solo. :D

Not sure who my kids will end up following, the way the SANFL is going I doubt they'll follow anyone unless it improves. :?

Throw into the equation that clubs are willing to charge up to $9 for a can of crap booze and its a wonder as many go that do, probably just blind loyalty.

I was at the Coopers Corner bar. We were drinking stout, (thank god for Coopers),but paying a steep $6 for schooners - some in the round were driving. Complaints around the price drew no sympathy from the barmaid. Was very surprised (an hour and 4 rounds later) to discover that pints of stout were also $6 - apparently there was only one button on the till for stout which they used for both schooners and pints.

Of course I'll still go to the games Chambo100 - at the moment the SANFL is much closer to how the game should be played than the AFL. But one worrying sign for me was in the mini-league two weeks ago. I saw the ball above the head signal used by one of the kids - this is how they are brought up through watching the basketball tactics in the AFL.

And I am worried a tad.
The blues have the highest ave possession count by a whopping 20 possies a game.
At times we resemble the afl and I don't like it.

The only game I have seen this season where we were direct was against the eagles.
...and Chambo kicked 11!

It is a much better look.

However it is also clear that the flood has arrived in the sanfl.
Seen it in most games v Blues. Saw it today Port v West.

The lovely Mrs Seagrim.

Grey hair like she rinsed in silvo, strict as they come but the loveliest lady you'd like to meet.

She'd try and bribe the whole school to follow the bays.

Didn't have much luck with Craig Bennetts who was in my class for the westies fans, or Simon and Adrian Pope for that matter.

The BAYS did have a HUGE following at that school though, Wedgie is spot on with that.
