McIntyre will remain a rooster but my point being that now the roosters will have to use their salary for him, which will slightly affect there ability to recruit other players, as they would already be in a squeez in my opinion.

Radio reports say Benny Hart has signed on as a full-time coach with the Crows so I guess his playing days are over?

And when pushed by KG and Studley about returning to South he basically avoided giving a direct answer and preferred to say that "The SANFL is an option" and given he mentioned he lives 2 minutes from the Bay (as it appears do most South players!) then the Bays should seriously go after him for 2008.

I hear on the radio this morning that Ben Hart has accepted the defensive coach role with Adelaide. I assume this counts him as an out for North?

My understanding is that he was a south boy through juniors etc. A lot of south players live knowhere near norlunga oval (infact, few people at all live near norlunga). If he has any loyalty at all you'll see him at south, but who knows how much longer he'll be playing for any way.

Listening to him on Channel 9 news I got the same impression. If he's playing SANFL next year, it'll probably won't be for South.

I don't think loyalty's a factor in any of this at all. When was the last time he played for South, and not as an AFL listed player?

He's been away from the club for around a decade. I'm not sure if he owes it anything.

and to be honest he would probably want to go to a club which maybe on the verge of success instead of going to a club which is in the rebuilding phase?

So he is going to North or Woodville West Torrens then?

I would suggest if Glenelg keeps going in its current direction it could be on the verge of success.

You only beat them in the dying minutes of the first semi and it took a flukey soccer kick to get there. Things could've been very different.
