are the 8 SANFL clubs receiving $500,000 per annum from the sale of Footy Park?
If so, does the Eagles profit include that dividend?

How can they receive a per annum amount from a sale of an asset? Money will dry up eventually...

that's correct, what I want to know is does the Eagles profit include the dividend from the sale, I believe it does & that's scary stuff. It will be the same for all clubs.

The distribution must go to debt so most clubs once their debt is reduced should be fine. It's saving grace but clubs like West , Eagles , South will eventually struggle as they have bugger all supporters.

It’s not just supporter numbers it’s having a sustainable business model and diversifying into other income streams. Having a thriving, quality bistro/bar is essential

Of course but if clubs attract little numbers it has a flow on effect . Having a thriving club helps too.

In the annual report (Finance report) it states that the Licensed clubs (Eagles Function Centre and 722) made a surplus of $212K and the football club $16K thus totalling $228K.

It's everything but supporter numbers. Supporter numbers will not keep SANFL clubs alive alone.

Still need supporters and members as if you dont have those then you are gone. 3k members at an average say of $60 is 180k . I think most clubs would take that .

Centrals would be lucky to have 2,000 members.
