Our skills are terrible. We fumbled and bumbled our way through that game. We had a forward line of midgets and our midfielders are lazy.

Good to get the win against a good side. I thought Raymond played one of his best games for us. Boyd was everywhere for Central. Not only does the win put us a game or two above Central, but we're once again level with West. With three relatively easy games coming up, hopefully we'll get three wins and some percentage and be in a good position for a double chance berth.

Looking forward to the bye next week. One of my favourite weeks of the year. I hope we still have byes next year i.e. No AFL in the SANFL.

I think Hall's wrist is broken. Lot of young players did well today in what was a tough encounter. Good to see Borholm coming on. CDvWWT at Woodville always a good game.

Bomber is a great guy and is going to be a very good footballer. He can play in any key position on the ground and is good in the ruck. Should still be at West.

There are no easy games in this league. If your team goes out with the same conceited attitude as you have, they'l lose all 3.

I said that we have some RELATIVELY easy games, and HOPEFULLY we'll win them, so I have a conceited attitude?

I don't think the game against Sturt will be that easy, seeing the way they touched us up last time

Of course it won't be easy, but it's good to have a run of games against bottom four sides after getting good results against top five sides - we've got as good an opportunity as any to mount a challenge for the double chance.

I spoke to Mick Godden post game and he said it was a broken thumb for Hally. Said it was pretty nasty and the bone had popped through the skin. Mick was very satisfied with the win...

Also mentioned, along with Hall's injury, Andrew Ainger was carrying a back injury, Jarred Allmond has hurt his knee pretty bad but was jabbed up and put to full forward, Matt Goldsworthy was as crook as a dog at half time, vomiting quite severely, Craig Parry copped a heavy head knock and Luke Powell and Patrick Giuffreda carried injuries into the game.

Mick said he was very proud of the boys to get the win under those circumstances...

Rowntree looked like he wasn't fully fit as well just to add to that.

So the Eagles did extra well with injured players on the ground . As did the seconds with grocke playing 1 and a bit quarters !!

Interesting to note after Parry copped that heavy head knock . When he came back on his work around the ground was top notch . Before the knock he was ordinary compared to his normal form . The goal he gave up being the prime example!!
