If the Eagles continue to play the way they did yesterday, ME, they'll be amongst that lot as well ;)

He didn't do round 1 is what I'm trying to get at, not the way we played which was poor.

1 win from 9 games across the grades for the Dogs. Suggests depth at senior level is thin and juniors are struggling.

Only 3 for the Pies, Booney ;)

Injuries across all 4 grades, like all clubs have, is affecting the depth at the Dogs, yes...

Your junior grades have been fairly ordinary for a few years BP.
Is this because they reward the better players with games in the ressies or league?

:?

Wasn't actually about the 'Pies Phil....I've noticed Centrals have had very mixed results in the juniors over the past few years and it looks as though talent coming through those grades may be of some concern for them in the future.

Also to do with Centrals Under 16s and 18s not having the decent cattle in recent years.

Is there a problem with junior talent identification?
They have a fairly decent zone to pick from, the Barossa alone plenty of talent and a lot of people would say the BL&G junior comp is one of the stronger country leagues going around.
I have noticed in the last few years that more and more kids are electing to stay with their local club than head down town

Centrals have the same problem as South. Being adjacent to the zone is a distinct disadvantage.

Who knows. They know there is a problem, but what is the solution to the problem.

Wouldn't have thought it would have been a distinct disadvantage, it would just come with it's own differences and challenges whilst Port, Glenelg and West would face different ones.
Don't forget Norwood, Sturt, and to some extent the Eagles (Adelaide Plains) are virtually adjacent to their zones.
