The sanfl has nothing to do with club grounds I would have thought.

Why not send Sturt to Adelaide Oval and repeat the disaster of previous years ?
I still believe Sturt should play some night games at Norwood as a trial to see if it helps them financially. Obviously their home games would not be against Norwood for obvious reasons.

Seriously, how much money would clubs save (ignoring the loss of attendance and catering/merch money that would invariably occur) if say, Glenelg were to share an oval with say, South?

Glad we're all discussing how this effects SANFL footy. For a moment there I thought I was on the Politics forum.

Ground rationalisation worked so well last time, lets have another crack.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

What is his rationalisation for this call? How does he think it will improve football finances in this state? How do the State Government coffers benefit, presumably that's where Kout's interest lies, by clubs sharing ovals?

What does SANFL clubs sharing have to do with the State Government?

This is the first thread on the page where this sort of fits.

Apparently all clubs agree (amazing in itself) that tickets have become too expensive and are making noise with SANFL. From what I understand a change may occur in season, back to $10 entry if they are successful.

The clubs complained the last 2 years and were united - Chandler and the Port $$$ mess were the big contributors to rising prices!

Yep me too especially given the big debt the league has. Will all depend on $$$ from the AFL licence sales no doubt.
