Biggest Improvers. Your Prediction of 2013.

Postby Dog_ger » Sat Jan 12, 2013 7:44 am

Dog_ger's Prediction for 2013.

Watch out for the wounded Magpie in 2013.

Their time will come.

My vote for the "Biggest Improvers in 2013"

Finishing 2nd.

Under the radar until now. :D

So, North have lost Allan, Alleway, Bennett, Mayes & they will improve?

I can't see much changing from last year, apart from West. I think they will drop out of the five, or just sneak in.

I think Norwood will improve the most and go through undefeated ! ;)

Seriously I expect the Eagles to improve on last year by finishing top 3 and Centrals to improve their finals performance and challenge Eagles for a GF birth. Not sure Centrals can improve on second in the minor round.

If Norwood get back to back premierships [-o<, would that be considered an improvement?

Yes. If you could beat one of the strong clubs in the finals and go on to win the premiership that would be a definite improvement!

not necessarily, what if you end the season on 14 wins and 6 losses but go on to win the flag.

We can only beat what's put in front of us.
The scariest thing is West were the second best team in 2012.
Doesn't say much for the rest of you.

I believe Centrals were the second best team in 2012 but had injuries at the wrong time and paid a penalty for playing unfit players in the finals. Look what the possible replacements did in the seconds ... won a flag !
The one slight disappointment about winning the flag last year is that we did'nt beat Centals in the GF. So we still owe them one !

Pretty sure Westies beat Central three out if four times last year including at Elizabeth

Dead right broadlach.

The only change I can see is South pinching the Dogs or Eagles spots in the 5.

I think North are a bigger chance to miss the 5 than the Dogs, they have lost alot more from last years side.

Despite the Dogs terrible terrible finals performances they still comfortably finished 2nd in the minor round.
