Tippett has another year on his current contract but will more than likely get picked up in the AFL draft.

Ferg was a little slow to begin with but his second half of the season was fantastic

One of the better sides I've seen, not a lot I can fault with it except for maybe Rudolph.
Even Jimmy on the bench is fair enough with the amount of games he left, a good compromise.

Speaking of Ferguson I was amazed to read he's now 30, seems like he only started playing recently! I thought he was in his mid 20s!

Personally would have had Batsanis and Caire in there before Rudolph and Jarrad

9 onballers in the team already, made it hard to fit Bats in I'd say.

Rate Caire, but didn't see enough of his footy to judge.

Looks like they have done a pretty good job with that team, although was Lewis Johnston that good all year?

Rowey said on 5AA last night that Joel is 'goneski', like his brother...

But then again, 5AA said Roy wasn't going to coach Central next year? (And, so did I  )

I think that the side selected is a very good, balanced team...

I reckon he was. Who do you think could have replaced him?

There could be a case for Roury Kirkby, Brad Fisher or Adam Grocke ahead of Johnston, perhaps?

Reckon overall it is a pretty good team, and hard to say there are too many bad selections. There will always be one or two unlucky blokes.
Jarrad definitely deserves to be there, had a really good year, and that's not bias as I'm usually a pretty hard marker of his.
Rowntree and Sumner would be the only other two from the Eagles that may have been around the mark, but plenty of onballers and took Sumner 1/3 of the season to really get into it.

Nah, definitely not Grocke. Didn't have a real good year, state game was probably the highlight. Suffered with poor team form, and personal form, guessing due to interupted preseason from injuries last year.

We're really clutching at straws to find something wrong with this team. After bagging their teams for years I congratulate them on the job they've done this year, well done to the judges!

He certainly was. He kicked 57 goals playing at Centre Half Forward. Given that he played the first few games at Centre Half Back, that is an average of 3 goals a game from the time he moved to Centre Half Forward.

Absolutely yes
Arguably the best player in the SANFL comp 2012
The efforts of forwards in the SANFL can never be underestimated
Umpires tend to give MM votes to midfielders who rack up possessions
But the forward in this day and age has to put up with flooding and zoning often enough, and in general has to earn possessions

IF LJ was fit and NA played in this years GF , no one should groan about $30 admission fees this week !
