Did anyone go to any of the other grade games? Is anyone planning to go this week? I'd think the U/18s would be of a similar standard (excepting the fact that in the old days it was U/17s and U/19s) to as it would have been pre-AFL, as the majority of players have not yet been snapped up and shipped away.
I'm also wondering if they get a crowd to these games. I remember the U/19s grand final at Woodville Oval in about 1986, when Sturt beat Port. From memory about 2,000 turned up that day.
If I was in Oz, I definitely go to Unleash Solar and see the Sturt/Norwood double header. This end of the year I'd go watch the double blue compete in any grade.

I went to Prospect on Saturday. Got there around half time in the Ressies game, not a bad crowd good to see a good number of Port fans supporting their side.

Crowd thinned out for the U18s unfortunately they missed a good game.

Will be at Alberton this week

Always enjoy the reserves/18s finals when I get the chance to see them. Didn't quite enjoy the port v Centrals game as much :p 18s was a really good game up until 3qtr time when the bays pulled away

Theri, you might want to change this weeks finals from Elimination & Qualifying Finals to 1st & 2nd semi finals.

 oops!
But here's the thing; I can't! Or at least I don't know how. I've been using an I-phone recently, and when I quote or edit I can only get to the first ten lines or so. Anything after that I have to delete what I can get to for it to appear on my edit screen. In this case those mistakes are right at the end of my post, I can't reach it without deleting about 60 percent of what's before it.
Unless...I'll try something.

week 2 - u/18s Sturt def Nwd, Eagles def Glg. Nwd vs Eagles in the Prelim this week, 10.30am at Alberton Oval on Sat I think.
Reserves - Central def West and Norwood def Sturt. Central v Sturt in the Prelim this week.

I think u/18 and Reserves prelim are both being live streamed on the SANFL website?

Question - the SANFL website has the u/18 GF listed at 9.05am on Sun 7 Oct, at venue "TBA". Will it be at Footy Park, or somewhere else?

Will be at footy park. Not sure why this weeks 18s prelim isn't at footy park either.

Thanks - I'm guessing that a 9.05am start time is a bit obscene and guys dont want to be turning up at 7.30am for a Prelim final. The SANFL may also be conscious of foot traffic, or with the Crows in AFL finals, they made bookings at suburban ovals.

I think it's not to give the winner an advantage of playing at AAMI over Sturt who would have not played there this year.

That sounds reasonable - except they are playing the reserves prelim at Footy Park and Norwood hasn't played there.
