Round 3 - WWT v Sturt @ Adelaide Oval - 7.40pm Fri 15/4/11

Postby GWW » Sun Apr 10, 2011 7:14 pm

The Double blues have had a disappointing first 2 rounds, and i can't see them notching up their first win for the season this week against WWT who should be refreshed after the bye.

My tip - Eagles by 44 points

given good weather i fear the double blues may get beaten by a 'bradman type score'
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Nothing is a sure bet in the SANFL this season if the first two rounds are to go by. If we have Hentschel and Tiller in, perhaps it will help to transform the side. Like the inclusion of Hentschel, Grocke and Welsh did to the team in last years Elimination Final.

Looks like this will be one of those "rebuilding years" clubs allegedly sometimes have.
I think we have kicked something like 7 goals to 29 in our past 5 quarters of football. Not a reassuring stat coming into this game and I hope we can hold them to less than an 8 goal margin.
If I was in Australia I'd go to this game though. I hope good Sturt folk get out there and cheer them on regardless of how bad this season may end up, then we can hold our heads high when we do eventually turn the corner.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Danger game for us...

Coming off the bye, Blues wounded after two 'crushing' defeats ( 1 by an 'implosion' & the other by an 'explosion') 8)

I tipped Sturt to win every game for the year, so I'm no judge!

Sturt by 28 points. :(
