DW - He was pushing the SANFL's AFL agenda pretty hard, encouraging CDFC faithful to go to Power games. Could have heard a pin drop in the room....

Completely unrelated but Tim Clements the marketing manager is also finishing up with Centrals shortly which is a real shame, Tim has been fantastic over the last few years and will be greatly missed.

This looks like the right time for Big Phil to take over and lead Centrals to more glory, if Eddie Maguire can do everything im sure Big Phil would do it even better.

LES Stevens, the man who oversaw Central District's first premiership, has returned as president/chairman of the club.
Stevens held the role from 1999-2007 but returns to the job four years later to replace Tom Zorich who has joined the SA Football Commission.
Stevens' appointment was decided at a Bulldogs' board meeting on Friday.
