It's like the Simpsons kids.. "can we dad?" "nah" "can we dad?" "nah" "can we dad?" "nah" "can we dad?" "nah" "can we dad?" "nah" ...
It's all the SANFL's fault.

"One PAFC is proposed to align the 300,000 Port Adelaide supporters and members with a common vision so the Port Adelaide Football Community is as one CLUB again."

If they're talking about Port Power supporters then they've overestimated by a factor on the order of 10.

If they're talking about Port Magpies supporters then they've overestimated by a factor on the order of 100.

If you take out the SANFL members and the neutral supporters it's probably a factor of 15.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Would have thought the best way to register your support would be to turn up to a game.......

What a crock of shite.
Timmy Ginever is a legend of a bloke. It's good to see someone trying to support the club they love, but this strategy  what a waste of time.
Instead of getting the 50,000 to register for something unworkable, they could pay a whole $20 each and get $1million worth of funding. If the Port magpies were then to lose that, well....

I heard Giniver on 5AA tonight and couldn't believe it! PISS OFF!!!!!
Also saying that other supporters want this to happen?
What happens when Sturt are close to folding huh? Sweet f-all, piss off with your crying out and stop making excuses, survive or fall, simple.
Once again PAFC wanting to have it their way to suit themselves when they want and couldn't care if it is one step closer to ruining the SANFL once and for all.
Didn't hear them saying it was so important back in the late 90's and early 2000's to one club.
I don't want to see PAMFC fold but you have to stand up by yourselves.

Barto, are you able to start up a web site to oppose this? I'll pitch in.
'PAFC don't want any advantages in the SANFL. It would only take away from any achievements we earned.'

Port Adelaide can get stuffed. Supporters of other clubs want this to happen .... pfffttt!!!! Sorry Timmy, but we've got our own problems to address, the last thing we're worried about is helping Port Adelaide. And you know what Timmy? We have to do it all by ourselves, we don't get handouts from the SANFL to keep afloat. I've had a gutful of listening to Port Adelaide's continual whingeing about financial woes over the past couple of decades, and their expectation that it is their right to expect assistance. If you can't survive on your own then do the footy world a favour, nail the doors of the club shut and find something else to do.

Couldn't agree more ... and I don't give a rats about Norwood's problems either.

Dont think Norwood have too many problems right now....... not compared to Port Magpies.
The club rooms are coming so what we have now in the RSL rooms is sufficient. I'll keep the revenue raising NorEast thank you very much.
Club rooms will generate very little income for just 10 games a year. Sure they are needed but all in good time.
The Redlegs should benefit from the return of night baseball in the summer too.

Norwood's major problems are the same as all the other clubs ....the AFL trying to make our competition into a junoir League.....and that's another story and another post.

If the development goes ahead, they should be sent the bill if they still cant draw a crowd.
