Round 14 - Sturt v Panthers @ Unley 2.10pm Sat 26th June

Postby GWW » Thu Jun 17, 2010 10:58 pm

The Panthers are probably unlucky not to have had more wins than they currently have, but I can't see them picking up 2 points in this game.

The Double Blues too strong, and I think they'll win by about 6 goals.

Have to agree, GWW.

South a bigger chance the following week, perhaps?

Sturt don't rate South who aren't a serious finals contender ... hence will lose.

i've seen sturt the last 2 weeks, i think they're getting their act together & given the congestion for a finals spot i'd think sturt will come out all guns blazing & blast south off the park & win by at least 8 goals

ps, i did notice ronnie fuller at the bay today doing his homework but that wont be nearly enough
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I see Sturt improving on current form and winning against South, if we don't we kiss goodbye any chance of finals or deserving a finals berth.

Dunno what to think of this game. Three of our last five losses have been by less than three goals so it's not exactly like we're getting thumped, but we just don't seem to know how to win.

Some of you are just writing south off and don't forget the last three meetings between these clubs have been very close and South should of have won two of those matches. I think Sturt this year have not been able to put three consisent performances together so i think they will still win but by 12 points with the second quarter to cost the panthers.

It wouldn't be a preview of a South match if there weren't a few 100 point margin predictions. :) Respect needs to be earnt.

South to be in the contest all day, but whether or not we can get it done when it matters is debatable.

Sturt are on their game don't think the panthers have enough quality to match.

I think the shoulder injury to Thewlis could hurt a bit to Ronny and his men.

Which kid wins a prize of a league game this week boys ;)

After two insipid performances in our previous two meetings cost us three points if we get our game going this week we should belt that mediocre looking Sturt line up
