Best of Both Worlds

Best of Both Worlds - The story of the West Torrens, Woodville and Eagles football clubs, will be released in late June 2010. More than 100 players and coaches were interviewed for the book, from Hank, Head, Blight and Huppatz to Colville and Fuller.

Official launch will be on July 3 before the Eagles v Sturt game

Love those type of books.
Best two books ever written .....Red and Blue Blooded. Men of Norwood. Mike Coward is an awesome author.

Loved the days of Lindsay Head, Fred Bills, Geoff Kingston and Co. Never saw Bob Hank but my father said one of the best ever.

Really looking forward to this one.

Hopefully every club can go down a similar path and put one out because I'd be interested to read about each club.

Was there something that brought this on? Normally these publications coincide with an event or anniversary.

Regardless, always good for a club to detail their history from time to time. If it doesn't happen some great stories and opinions can all too easily be lost into the ether.

This year is the 20th season of The Eagles from when the 2 clubs merged to make 1 club in 1991.
