Listened on line.

Sounded a scrappy affair with plenty of mistakes on both sides. Don't know how much effect the breeze had on the game but the kicking didn't sound to hot either. Port's kicking in sounded pretty ordinary with a few out on the full's and turnovers, but North's was just as bad particularly in front of goal.

Stewart for North couldn't hit a barn door with a cows arse today and twice kicked it out on the full when shooting from a set play.,

Clayton got reported for striking Allan, or maybe not striking him ??

Funny how everything came down to Alleway's game sabing mark seconds before the siren.

One of those big pack leaping chest marks. And if he didn't take it we were gone.

I thought Port played the better football today. Unfortunately for them, North's best 6 players were in defense today.

Umpiring was slightly better this week.

Crowd was disappointing.

You mis-spelt crappy JTC.

Umpiring was crap but better than the footy.
Footy was goddamn awful but better than the stupid comments from the people in the crowd who have ABSOLUTELY no idea about the game of football.
If these morons carried on like this in public they'd be locked up for stupidity.

I'm getting drunk next week and every other week, its just not bearable sober.

Oh, and well done to someone on revolutionising cost cutting measures by putting a chair with a sign saying $5 on the car park entrance but having noone there.
Thanks for the free car parking.
I didn't help the Magpies much this week, paid $3.50 for a bottle of coke and that was it as I bought my 4 cans of Dr Tims at the Alberton Hotel on the way there.
Cheap day really. Red Rooster got more of my money!

Thats it from me for a while, Im going to go watch the last half of Geelong v Freo, dont care who wins, will just be nice to watch two teams that can play football.

PA game plan , kick to the forward pocket grandstand pocket on the last quarter at all costs
The 3 NA defenders were smart enough to stand there in the dying seconds

NA were in control of the game except for a PA 3 goal burst early in the 2nd qtr
NA should have won by about 4 goals, but for poor shooting at goal
And PA nearly won, work that out

Was that Bucky Cunningham playing for PA today !!!

It was also decided that South have the best supporters in the league today.

North, Glenelg and the Eagles have the worst.

Was really impressed with both Lycett and Solly for the maggies. Certainly 2 players to watch out for in the future.

Imagine how good Alleway would be in say a Centrals team then?

Seriously he played a great game but it would be nice to get Ackland back to ruck with Craig so we can leave him in the fwd line. Without Gill today and poor games from Stewart and Davis overall, Alleway at least is reliable when the balI is delivered correctly. He does need to improve accuracy however which is his only negative. Clearly on the last two weeks has shown that he is clearly the best big man in the SANFL and there is fair gap between him and whoever is next cab off the rank IMHO.

On the game - North dominated for most of the day and should have had the game wrapped up by quarter time except for poor conversion. To Ports credit they stepped up from the second quarter and despite their lack of size and experience performed really well however North were horrible in large doses after quarter time. North poor skills (a lot down to Port increasing pressure after the first quarter) coupled with poor decision making and flooding that hurt us when we broke forrward almost cost us.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

How good would Summerton be in a better side. He was sensational today. When no one else could use the ball he was always finding a man. He is small but why is he not on an AFL list. Sure ho got plenty of easy touches but he got a heap of hard balls as well. He always plays well against North, is he that good against other teams?
