Postby bayman » Mon Mar 22, 2010 7:17 pm

If they had 5,000 there (which I think is realistic) West would be ecstatic as that would be their best crowd since 1992 or thereabouts (spelly could confirm).

Looking forward to this one enormously, should be a cracker. If they can get 5,000, that will be a great effort by the club and supporters, as well as many neutral supporters heading along.

Round 2 1992 - 5671

8,000? Well, you'd have to go back to Round 8 1986 for that - 10,808.

Considering it is the 1st game of the season, the 1st ever night game at Richmond and no other games on at the same time I'd expect a lot of nuetral supporters as well, should be a very good crowd

Something really wrong with West & North supporters if they can't achieve 6,000 fans.

Perspective people. West v North games at Richmond have attracted less then 2000 spectators in recent times.

Yeah but they're unveiling "THE LIGHTS". Surely this will get people out just for the novelty of Night Footy @ Richmond :)

I hope West use some common sense and open up every entry point and all the car parks. My son has footy training on Friday nights and I have a concern about getting a park and getting in ok time but I hoping Westies will adequately cater for a big crowd.

I'll wait until round 4. Not a big deal. According to the messenger these lights are less bright than Norwood's old ones. :?
