Why would you start the rally on a Friday afternoon while a lot of people are still at work?

Surely you would want to hold it at a time that would maximise attendance to get a bigger impact?

Apologies to Goat herder who I promised I would reciprocate 2003, that time is just ridiculous for people that are employed.

 I'm going to struggle to get there! 4:30 on a Friday?

45 minutes from the P.O.W to Alberton Oval. Are we/they stopping at the Alberton hotel for a couple?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Unfortunately I wont be able to make that, which is disappointing (personally more so than for the club) ... Hope they get plenty of numbers and it has a positive effect on their situation.

In all fairness to the organisers, they have to take into account the overwhelming fact that 95% of their supporters are all on the dole anyway, so 4.30 on a Friday arvo is not going to affect them. At least this way, they can all get back to their local for 6pm happy hour :)

I tried to convince others that sat or a later date would be better but was not able to. We would have also had Kevin Foley there if it was sat as well.

Disappointing from the perspectives of supporters of all clubs I'd think - tough gig at that time on a Friday. What were the compelling reasons given for having it on a Friday, rather than the next day?
