Having a double-header with an AFL game would be fantastic - you get to sit with either 20,000 or 40,000 idiots (depending whether it's a Power or Crows game), you get to pay almost 3 times as much for your ticket if you don't have a season pass, plus there's the benefits of Aami stadium such as expensive parking, not being able to sit/stand where you want, not going onto the oval during 1/4 and 3/4 time, etc.

As I said if it was to be a curtain raiser for an AFL match there would be a lot of logistics to work out - maybe it would work better if it was done like the U18's Eagles vs Sturt game earlier this season after the match, you should only have genuine SANFL supporters stick around and watch the game.

On the contrary Mic - I believe it could be very good for the SANFL - showcase our great game to some supporters that followed SANFL pre AFL days. Perhaps entice them back to our great game.

most people rock up to AFL games in the hour leading upto the start so they wouldnt see much of the SANFL anyway

Given the AFL requirement of the ground being free for 45 mins before the game to allow for warm ups etc of both teams if teh SANFL was to program a league as a curtain raiser I'd bet their would be SANFL players walking out of the ground showered and changed before the AFL game even starts...
