We'll be there

Shoot me down all you want I don't care.

We saved our three worst quarters of the year for our last five - even worse than our quarters earlier this year agaisnt Westies (nods to R&B ;) ) . Make no mistake we have to live the with the consequences and only have ourselves to blame for 2009. However, our problems are fixable and with the attitude showed by the ressies today bring a few of those blokes into our league side, some modifications to our forward structure and belief in our our ability well we can go at least one step further next year.

love the attitude taz, still hurting like daffy duck, if you know what i mean and no doubt that applies to all true tiger fans, maybe a bit of tinkering with our gameplan may help, too predictable sometimes having had a chance to reflect, just got to add that i know of 2 termites who havent been to a game in 7 years - work out when was their last, all i can say is eat it and get back into the woodwork!

Glenelg could go one of two ways:
1. Using the pain of the preliminary final loss as motivation throughout next year to make it back to the grand final
2. Be too scarred from results in the last two years and not even getting close for the next 5 years

Personally I think Glenelg are too good and Mark Mickan is too good a coach for the latter to occur, so I agree that they'll be featuring in the grand final next year. They have learnt their lesson about complacency, such as just expecting to beat Sturt in the preliminary final.

My pick: SOUTH ADELAIDE

Glenelgs a chance but only if the club doesn't follow what some Bays supporters have done and turn on each other...

predictable gameplan.....central has a predictable gameplan we know what they do, they choke you down, run quickly forward once a turnover is acheived they know exactly where to run, when the opposition have it they force you wide or make you kick long to a contest & usually it comes straight back.....

how many times today did sturt go up the middle of the ground going forward ? not very many times at all

the gameplan is quite simple, it works if all players work very hard etc & THEY BLOODY DO

Just play the minor round, then hand the premiership trophy to Central, and we can get on with our lives.

Interesting stat here

2006 - North won the reserves premiership, played in the 2007 League GF.
2007 - Glenelg won the reserves premiership, played in the 2008 League GF.
2008 - Sturt won the reserves premiership, played in the 2009 League GF.

As Glenelg won the 2009 reserves flag, my prediction is Glenelg.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

think sturt and the bays will both be there in top 3 next tear. as a dogz fan these moments still seem quite surreal hard to belive but this bubble wont burst. the team id like to play is port they still are the team dogz fans hate the most plus i remember 95 96 and all them years without a premiership tracking to the warfie soil copping it.to all bridesmaids fans centrals probably wont win the next 8 outta 10 but we will ALWAYS BE A GREAT CLUB and i think the club and area have to much talent to not be up there.gl all next season

AM Bays seems to forget a game at woodville oval.Where the bays kicked 2goals 9 first quarter(I think).Forwards head butting each other off the oval .And an out classed Eagles out fit won the day.

For me Mikan may just have a flaw in his coaching style .He didn't get the goods at his one year stint at Oval ave either.

If Centrals make it again I have no idea who'll play them .
But I think the 2010 GF is a long way off yet!!

Hopefully Borewood, I'm sick to death of a few of their pathetic supporters constantly droning on about "how boring"the SANFL is. Will it be boring if it's a Norwood v Central GF? 35,000 people snoring their heads off? Not from where I was standing, they weren't! All I could hear was massive singing & chanting! Go knit some red & blue draft snakes over the summer, tool squeezers!!
