Salter getting blocked while two Sturt players go up for any easy uncontested mark...but that happens all the time to any forward.

I normally defend umpires but I'm willing to bet that for every free a Glenelg supporter thinks was missed, I can give two that that were missed for the Dogs.

However, I'm willing to concede that the decision after the siren WAS a shocker!

The "holding-the-man" the Eagles got on their half forward line in the last when Sturt had the ball?

Although I could make it sound like we got the rough end of the stick*, I do recall a free in the last in our forward line which I could not work out at all.

Like I said on the game thread, I thought we got a good run in the second half.

And I thought the Bays had the better of it in the second game.

it was a free for holding the man that the eagles got where everyone around me all thought the same it was an f.a.d. that should have gone the other way because it was the eagles playing pulling the sturt player down after his kick....the umpire hesitated three times before giving the free & it was WRONG & CLEARLY WRONG & as i said it was the worst decision i've ever seen

That's a big call bayman, worst decision you've ever seen in the 10,000 odd games you've been to?

oh it was mate, usually while you may not agree with a decision for various reasons like ''but he was in front'' or ''that was soft'' etc etc, this decision was just clearly WRONG & as i said the umpire hesitated 3 times before finally blowing his whistle so to start with he wasn't sure either

There was a good one yesterday in the reserves too...think it was Jarred Redden was given a free in the middle and handballed it straight off to Angus Rowntree, umpire missed the handball and thought Rowntree was going to take the free not realising it wasnt for him, so blew the whistle and made him hand it back to Redden who then handballed it straight back.
Trust the process.
