I wonder if bayman and mal will create the same histeria as they did for Robert Shirley after one of the bays reserves players got reported for a supposed spear tackle. I doubt it.

chris kane was reported, wasnt really a spear tackle though the west player was landed on his side - the type of tackle that has been quite prevelent in the reserves lately

all up a good day for the bays with the combined winning marging of all 3 teams around 270 points.

dissappointing that in the last game of the season west persisited with their defensive style of play - i lost count of the number of times they had the ball on the half forward line and couldnt kick the ball forward because the had no-one in their forward 50

Not really. We have lost our last 4 in most, if not all of those years.

Certainly ran out of steam late in the 3rd quarter. Bronik Davies withdrew from the side and losing Ben Fisher hurt rotations.
Anderson was short of a run but take nothing away from the Bays - they are a sound unit.

Considering Fathers day and the Royal Show, I thought it wasnt a bad crowd especially as it was a dead rubber.

well i did not see it so i wont comment, but how any player kane today & hayes yesterday puts themselves in a position to get reported on the eve of the finals are stupid

as for todays game martin was very impressive for west from limited opportunities & i thought kirk, fisher & panozzo were our best three, it was a good hit-out & west will go into next year expecting to make the finals & perhaps they could TUCK into getting a couple of good recruits to top off their list
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Re the Kane incident, to be honest it was nowhere near as bad as the Shirley. Will probably get a reprimand or at worst a game. On your last comment, he certaintly would be good back in a red and black jumper next year. He certaintly loves our club and is usually at our games when Richmond are in town.
